Different strokes for different folks. It's not all about horsepower to some people. If it was, it is likely that they would not have purchased a G in the first place...

this is the same argument ppl make for real vs replica parts..... there are people who dont want to be the exact same as everyone else on this board. a majority of this board are carbon replica's of each other with ark exhausts, vossen wheels, and replica top secret front lips. just based on what i paid for my wheels and exhaust alone i coulda went forced induction... but I have things no one else has. and if the OP was wanting pure performance, he would get a custom one made with 3" diameter piping for FI.....

... I know, man. I actually enjoy the car NA. Certainly not the fastest car in the world, but it's still an enjoyable driving experience. To me...

Have you heard either of these exhausts in person? Video clips usually dont tell the whole story, plus other modifications can contribute to the sound good or bad. Tanabe is a great exhaust, so is HKS, look into those as well. Good luck.

I will stay out of this as I have heard both on Z's and think they are too loud for a G.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I didn't say anything about real vs fake...copycats vs original...etc. I didnt say anything about buying what everyone else buys. Im saying that for that money, someone could have an insanely fastER G. A lot of people buy exhausts to make their cars sound better, or perceived performance. You can get more bang for your buck if you dont pay so much just for exhaust.

I can see if we were talking COSMETICS vs PERFORMANCE. Some people would rather look good than go fast. I totally understand that.

Plus 1 for this but you do not need to break the bank to do it.. I got my exhaust for dirt cheap( New and was a test fit) No one over hear had or even heard of it.. The wheels I picked are seen only on BMW's( German cars) and am the First X Coupe with the a SC.. That was the only thing I went crazy on 10k but was the First..
