Boston (the city) isn't bad. It's East Boston, Dorchester, Roxbury, etc. that's gone (deeper) to sht.

Unbelieveable! A milk carton? I have never seen that in my entire life and I have been through the ghetto's of Miami. I have seen dozens of cars on bricks, but never have I seen a car on a milk carton with the wheels stolen. Look at the damage it caused!! Talk about adding insult to injury. I seriously want to throw up. It's very hard to even look at that photo.

That aside, I apologize for the anger and utter sadness you must have felt the minute you laid eyes on this. But quick question, why did you park your car near what looks to be conveinent stores? I personally would never leave my car parked on a side street at night in front of stores. Not saying it's your fault, just curious. Do you own a garage or parking space? Either way, the person that did this deserves to be mangled.

Sorry for your loss. Seeing that pic makes my blood boil.

The same thing happened to my friend's Honda Fit almost a year ago. Yes, a Honda Fit. The car was only a few months old. He came out of his house to go to work in the morning and saw his new car haphazardly sitting on 3 milk crates with all four wheels missing. The front bumper and driver's side front rotor were resting on the ground (on an uphill). Needless to say, he was beyond pissed.

That was in a nice quiet neighborhood in W. Roxbury (not Roxbury).

Good luck with your repair.

I knew from the title what this thread was about. Ive seen this too many times, this type of **** is becoming too common and getting ridiculous. What are the people in this world becoming..... Im sorry for your misfortune.

Hopefully car manufacturers will begin to look at the seriousness of these thefts and begin to incorporate more effective theft and vandal deterrerent mechanisms... I would like to see 360 degree view cameras that will activate when the car is shut off as well as having the option to be powered on while the engine is running as well.

But thats bullsh!t oem rims or not...I feel for you.

that's seriously painful to see, luckily my car sits in my garage at night and is parked in a secure parking garage with 24/7 surveillance and security when I'm at work, I still get paranoid going out on weekends though...

After reading this thread the other day I had a nightmare that this happened to my car. One of those ones where you think it was real too, so when I woke up I had to open my window to make sure it wasn't true.
