Infiniti rep told me that Infiniti will be making a " IPL" edition in ALL models like how BMW have the M series for all their models, just want to know if anyone else heard this??

 

doubtful. I don't seen an IPL QX making much sense.

Geesh ... the current M35h is faster than the current IPL G37 Coupe.

 

Isn't IPL currently in the "let's see if there is interest for performance" stages?

 

Maybe not for the QX... but it's certainly plausible for a G coupe / sedan, M, FX to have the IPL badge.

 

Agreed...BMW and Mercedes already have that, so why wouldn't Infiniti (even though the current IPL improvements don't come close to comparing with AMG and M cars)

 

IPL is just starting to come out don't be surprised when it takes off n IPL comes out with a 500hp g coupe to competete with AMG and M cars lol

 

I love these so call "reps" who dont even know what product it is that they are selling..I would not buy an IPL M, perhaps an IPL FX but if by IPL they mean putting on hideous wide front and rear bumpers and little no performance gains and add a mark up of $10k..then count me out..I dont even like how the IPL G-coupe looks (sorry IPL owners )

 

I hear the next Gen IPL G will be about $70-75K and will have V8 and Merc Trans.

It will be made to take on BMW M3.

 

then they would have to give you all those extra bells an whistles (meaning at extra 100whp roughly) for just like 5-10k more...M3 is starting at like 60k, IPL starting at 50K. just dont see infiniti giving all that up and only jumping the price that little for that much product, IMO.

My response to them (not you, bro) would be.... WHO CARES? LOL. If you are going to have a "performance division", stop acting like amateurs and give the car more power FIRST, with some styling cues and handling, LOL.

But body kit and a muffler? INSULT! lol.

As long as they do it right, Im all for it. But you don't want to be the laughing stock of the performance divisions of major automakers.

lol at people thinking that Infiniti (which is Nissan) is going to make a 600 hp infiniti. I guess that means they have make the GT-R like 800 or 1000 hp car.

Come on guys let be realistic here Infiniti is never and I repeat never going to have high class performing parts standard from Nissan. Everything high standard goes to the GT-R.

Also, people fail to realize the GT-R was made to take on the M3. Heck they even made the GT-R to take on the Porsche GT3-RS.

So once again Infiniti is not going to make a 500 + hp car because if they do they will be taking away the sales from the GT-R.


Once again GT-R = Nissan Mother of God Cars.
