So as some of you know I was hit in the Wal Mart parking lot a while back. I was quoted at $500 to get it re painted and fixed. My question is would it be easier to buy a bumper and just put it on? The reason is if I want to ever trade it in they will know it was repainted. I appreciate the help.

For bumpers it honestly shouldn't matter.

If you look at bumpers on any stock car right now, you'll see it look a bit different anyway. It's just the way paint is on plastic vs metal.

I don't think you can get a pre-painted factory bumper unless you found a car that was wrecked in the front.
