End of the G Lease and options

Well, like many my lease is up on the G and I'm curious what others are doing (purchasing, turning back in, getting new car, holding for a while, etc). As for me, I had the inspection today and have NO damage I'm responsible for (hard to believe given the size of a scratch and dent), so its only a matter of days now.

I'm going to remain car payment free, but here's what I've been eyeballing:

1) E92 M3
2) Lexus IS-F
3) Benz CL63 AMG
4) Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series
5) New Benz C63 Coupe
6) E39 M5

Lets hear what others are doing, buying, or bought. The Z/G family has been good to me, but I'm moving onto a V8.

Personally I'd chose either #1 or #2. I don't like how mercedes' ride or look and I wouldn't want an e39 m5 since the F10 M5 is coming out.

My decision would be the e92 M3, it seems to have a lot of happy drivers and looks beast.
At the end of the day it's really your preference.

Dodge Neon SRT-4 should be on that list. I'd go that route...

I'd go with the E92 if it were me.

If you've got that sort of cash, then I've only three letters for you: G T R.

Yep GTR is most def nice whip, but I really another V8 car. I like the AMG's because they stuff a massive motor with neck breaking torque in a tiny car. I like the high revs of the E92 also.

Yeah.. LOL at the SRT!!

Anybody else have any cars worth mentioning I'm forgetting?

couple of questions first..

is this going to be a daily driver?

what would you like out of your next car?

-intuitive driving, power/handling (M3, M5)
-brute hp and nothing else (benz)

How about a Cadillac CTS-V with a 6-speed? Those are nice.

I agree about the V Series.

It seems that price is not an issue some of the AMG's are on the north side of $100 grand, even used they are in the $70k range.

I also agree that it depends on whether you are in the market for a daily driver or not and whether or not you are looking new or used.

Good luck on your search, keep us updated.

I remembered seeing a video on youtube for C63 AMG coupe black series, and it looks REALLY sick.

I like the idea of a gigantic v8 in a tiny car, I would choose C63, but too bad it doesn't come with 6MT.

My 2009 G37 x had 10 months left on my lease. My dealer let me pick out a new 2012 G37X and kept the lease payments the same as my 2009. No penalty, no down payment, no deposit! I thought it was a heck of a good deal. Besides I can't find a better car at the price I am paying. So I took the deal
