just got my Autokits X V2 diffuser and i'm thinking whether i should paint it flat black or gloss black before i install it? i'm planing to paint it professionally at the body shop.

BTW any blue slate with V2 diffuser? if so share your pictures.

i had flat black on mine at first and painted it gloss black. gloss looks better imo

 

post pics when your done cause their arnt too many blue slates out here with diffusers.

 

 

I say matte. Stock diffusers on cars like BMW's Mercedes etc. come matte. Plus I think it looks better than gloss

 

I'm think I'm going satin black with the V1 on my LP. IMO matte looks better on light colors and gloss looks better on dark colors

 

I went with gloss black on my V2. I think it will look good either way...

What color is your wheels? tint? grill? emblems? . . . you may want to coordinate with those.

 

Like mentioned above, it really depends on the theme of your car. Did you paint your grill or headlights?
