Agreed it was a joke. I don't think anyone takes Dog seriously. Its just comedy how everyone he encounters is an icehead, it's like really now??

 

One common misconception about Hawaii is that all locals are very nice, friendly, and love to help Mainland visitors. Sad reality is that many locals straight up hate mainlanders, "haoles" in particular. I know the PC definition of haole is "foreigner" but that's a bunch of bs. Haole is mostly used as a derogatory term towards white people.

Forget Dog and Hawaii five-O. Come to Hawaii and venture out of Waikiki and you'll see the real Hawaii.

 

Oh and there is a huge ice problem here. And homeless as well. Hawaii is not exactly the paradise you see on the travel channel and Hawaii five-o.
