Finally! A little progress—wheels and suspension!

Finally had a chance to snap some photos (albeit not great photos) of my 2011 G coupe. Not completely done, but getting there.

So here’s the breakdown:

Wheels: Avant Garde M368- Front: 20x8.5 + 20 , Rear: 20x10 + 20
Tires: Front- 245/35, Rear- 255/35

Thanks to Eric @ getyourwheels and the guys at Avant Garde for helping me with offsets and picking the right size tires. Definitely got a lesson about tire size and how every tire company runs sizing differently. Great wheels. Love the look. Not Volk, SSR, etc. but still a great wheel. Believe me, if I could have any wheel, I would probably go with SSR Type-F. But just bought a house and have a new car payment, so went cast instead of monoblock forged.

Suspension: KW V3

Thanks to Amplified Motorsport and Lou for giving me information about the many different coils on the market. Bounced back and forth between Tanabe sustec pros, Tein SS-P and KW V3, but in the end, Lou gave me such a sweet deal on the KW V3, I just couldn’t pass on them. I definitely recommend the extra money for coils that allow for damper adjustment. Only having them for a couple weeks now, I must say that they are great. No noises or clunks. Great ride for a non-custom coil. Now, just waiting for the coils to settle, then I'll be doing a height adjustment and damper adjustment (currently @ 7, might go more stiff).

Only other things I’ve done were painting the grill matte black and vinyl wrapping the chrome trunk trim matte black. Other than that, nothing else…yet. 6k HID for headlights and 6k HID fog kit coming soon. My cousin Ant and I will be installing them when he’s in Cali. Talked to Raul G at Amplified while he was installing his exhaust (btw, BEASTLY), so maybe a headlight mod.

Just wanted to show some love for everyone who helped me. Now, on to the photos!

Not too shabby but definitely need to go lower especially up front.

Lou didn't lower the front all the way because he wanted to wait until they settled because of engine weight. I'll take some more pics when I adjust height.

Yup, Ant has definitely helped me out a lot.

And yes... love the KW's! Great coils. Before I had the KW's I was on an Eibach pro-kit drop. The only problem was that the shop that installed those springs, installed the wrong parts. They installed springs for 02-06 G35 sedan. I'll be friendly and leave names out of it, but I know they aren't on here. Friend of a friend referrals always suck. Oh well, live and you learn.

Those wheels look outstanding!
Really, really like the look.
As for lowering it MORE??? I guess my age is showing because that looks plenty low to me.

Well, I don't want a raked look, or in this case a rear that's lower than the front. LOL. Just level. I will probably lower the front 1/4" to 1/2". The rear is just fine IMO. No scraping, well not much. Rubbing once in a while, but rare. Already relocated the bumper bracket bolt and my tires already removed the carpet liner.

Other Gs on this forum look lower, but that's because they have kits. Not sure if I'll head that route.

Thanks again fellas.

Yup, why do you ask? I tried fitting a 275, but way too wide.

Really, I am thinking a 275-30 would be a nice fit for a 20x10.
