Help: Roof Spoiler Installation

Got a question guys, I just received roof spoiler I ordered on eBay and installation is pretty straight forward, 3m double sided tape .. problem is I live in Brooklyn and afraid it won't last through the week without being ripped off . I think I saw someone post there's a way to bolt it on, or at the very least use silicone glue. I would prefer bolting it on (if it's possible) instead of the latter option. Please share any opinion/experience you might have. Sorry if this is a redundant thread.

I don't think you want to be putting any holes in your car to mount a roof spoiler. You'd be surprised how well the 3M tape holds if the surface is prep'd properly. If someone wants to steal your spoiler their going to get it one way or another. I'd take my chances and not deface my car anymore than the roof spoiler already is.

Imagine they try and rip it off with it bolted on? I think Mike is right. I here you though. I live in Queens and got stuff stolen from my 98 4Runner!

As far as alignment I agree, I have a friend with a shop. What I'm wondering is where the silicone would go, between tape and spoiler or between glass and tape, or both.

your friend with a shop should know how to install it.... if he doesn't, go to a professional.
