Am considering the purchase of a one owner '08 G37 Journey Coupe from a local dealer and can't get the original owner to respond to my notes/letters. (Found his name, address, etc. in the glove compartment).

Originally I was trying to find out about the service history in this car and got to thinking that it would be nice to know exactly how the vehicle came equipped from the factory (apart from the obvious things that I can see on the car).

I do have the VIN #.

Is there a WEB site that I can input the VIN # and get the equipment information??

I did try a local Infiniti dealer, but they weren't really interested in helping me - probably because the car wasn't in their inventory.

Any thoughts as to how I get this info would be appreciated.

I guess he wants to stack up a regular journey against the premium and premium
sport packages. OP, I think a google search might get you the different options the 08 coupes came with.

 

I guess what I'm trying to find out is what was on the car as Factory installed versus the possibility of item(s) being dealer installed.

 

I believe I read a thread about a member getting Infiniti to email him a list of what the vehicle was built with based on the VIN. Was Infiniti corporate, not a dealer if I'm not mistaken. I wish I remembered where I saw that thread. I'd search, but the search feature isn't the greatest.

 

Packages could not have been dealer installed except for Aero. Accesories that come to mind which could have are lighted door sills, interior illumination/accent kit, splash guards.. ugh.. impact sensor...
