From: Framingham Ma,
Congrats and welcom,
Looks good man but will look a 1000 times better dropped. You will not scrap the car either , I dont scrap anywhere, But you will also need at least 20MM spacers thats what I am running, You could also look at wheels staggered set up, An some bolt ons IE?

Yeah, you'll be fine with a drop. If you don't wanna scrape, don't slam it. I'm dropped on Eibach's, no scraping at all.

Drive it off a cliff and get the '12... J/k. Look into getting a drop, not really sure why you're afraid of hitting your bumper (is your driveway high or do to go up steep entrances)? Mild drop should give you the looks and not compromise too much of your ride height. Get the trunk lid spoiler and mod the headlights.

After the spoiler I'd get the LED light kit. It's cheap and a nice improvement to the interior, imo. I also like smoked tail lights but only on black cars. :P

i want to find a solution to the front plates on the G37. Right now i used zip ties to tie the plate on the mesh part of my front bumper.

I got pulled over 3 times within one month when I didnt have a front plate. The stupid part is I had no plates at all I just had a temporary dealer permit during the first 2 weeks after i purchased the car and i got a ticket.

I have an Eibach drop and I'm good. I need to get a front license plate solution too. I plan on getting this show n go plate. A couple on here have it I believe.

Here's the link: Altec Products Inc. 400EU Altec Product Show N Go License Plate Transports

Congrats and welcome to the forum. An eibach drop to get rid of the ugly fender gap but still give you plenty of clearance.

Eibachs are about $225 new but check the classifieds here for used ones for $150-$175. Installation is straight forward (search for tutorials) but there are some tough bolts and you need a non-regular spring compressor.

I was originally quoted about 2.5 hours for the front and 1.5 for the rear (which should take about 10 minutes) and told the guy to fvck off. I found a shop to do it for $150.

So rounding up you should be well under $400 but many people will tell you to avoid springs, save your money, and buy coilovers.

+1 on saving up for coils. I have Eibachs right now and I'm looking in the near future to switch to BC racing coils. Eibachs are very good if you want to save money for an exhaust, intakes, etc but IMO saving up for a good suspension is a lot better in the long run.
