2012 G37S Vs 2011 G37S

I was on Infiniti.com and saw that maybe what looks like they updated the springs and shocks on the 2012 Sport G37S Coupe.

I don't know if they really did this or the 2011 and 2012 is the same and it's just marketing to make the sport option stand out.

Includes all G37 Coupe Journey standard equipment
Close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission with short-throw shifter
19 x 8.5-inch (front) and 19 x 9.0-inch (rear), split V-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels with 225/45R19 (front) and 245/40R19 (rear) W-rated summer performance tires
Sport brakes
Sport-tuned suspension with upgraded springs and double piston shock absorbers
Sport front fascia
Power sliding tinted glass moonroof
Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System with 7-inch WVGA color touch-screen display, Lane Guidance and 3-D building graphics[*]
Infiniti Studio on Wheels® by Bose® 11-speaker
Rear Sonar System[*]
Infiniti Voice Recognition for audio, navigation and vehicle information systems

something to think about might be that if you decide to upgrade to after market wheels and change suspension w springs/coilovers... then what ur asking doesnt really matter since u would be changing...

most importantly is that ur getting the shifters, sports front fascia, and bbk with the sports model...

Ride quality is generally good. The suspension features “Dual Flow Path” shock absorbers, which tighten as required based on the aggressiveness of your driving. Just cruising? The G rides like the luxury car it is. Want to get down on it? Dual Flow Path dampers tighten up to execute the mission without beating you to death.

So There is Dual Flow Path? this what 2011 guys have G37S..

I think by "upgraded" they meant upgraded with respect to the non-sport version and not with respect to the 2011 model

The one thing I have noticed is that they are asking more for the 2012's then they were for the 2011's, now that the 2012s are out the 2011 are a great deal in most cases. I don't see anything that has really made the 2012 stand out other than it costs more.

Thank goodness no changes. Just picked up an '11 a couple weeks ago (just delivered to the dealer). Glad to know that it might as well have been labelled '12..

Trulegend, get the new front bumper and you're in the game. The headlights are slightly different (gun metal grey housing in 2011 vs chrome housing before that I believe). Mod the headlights and no one will be the wiser. In NY, we have registration stickers that show the year though!!
