G all day

Making my new purchase on a 2011 or 2012 g37x wit the sport and premium packages only. Coming from a fan of Mitsubishi evos and it's not cutting it for me. And the g37x is all I need for jersey and ny snow weather. I've been doing my research so just wanted to get some opinions on the g37x coupe. This is going to be my DD. I wanted something AWD and I can do some fun modifications hit me up let me know. I have heard some good comments mostly about the g37x coupe so far. if anyone is wondering I doubt I'm going big on performance. Only a CAI, fast intention carbon fiber exhaust system. Bc coilovers. And uprev tune. So should be a good enough amount of numbers. But please any opinions and thoughts would be very much appreciated.

I own a 09 G37X Coupe. Car is stock except for suspension upgrades and i really enjoy it. I purchased it for winter usage, but in the end bought a beater car for that, so I can't really tell you on winter weather usage. What I can chime in is it's a blast to drive when the suspensions are upgraded. I used to own a WRX, and I really like that the G37X is basically a RWD car until it senses slip and engages the 50/50 split. Comparison to the WRX, there was significant understeer in the WRX. The G feels more in-tune with the road and easier to predict the drive line. If you drive like I do, aggressive, you will definately feel the weight of the car, but honestly I think you will enjoy the G. My .02

Another jersey G! Those are nice future mods you have listed but my advice is if you plan to DD thru snow i dont know how much you would want to lower it, also the fast intentions exhaust sits a little lower than others so youll lose some clearance right there

Your mod list is great. CAI, FI exhaust and UpRev tube is definitely a must! Your car will be amazing. There's nothing but good things to say in terms of Fast Intentions and for you CAI, I'd go with Stillen Gen 3.

Damn really becuz I saw some videos and the sound of the exhaust and look of it is great. So I wanted to get that instead of the stillen exhaust system. With the BC coilovers I won't bring it down too low but a good enough stance.

Thanks Im not doing anything too huge yu know. Just the listing I described along with the BC coilovers for a nice low stance and keep it simple. The rims if I can find them I want to see If I can find the te37 SL or the strasse forged carbon fiber rims which are also light weight. So we will see.

Thanks and yes lol I do drive aggressive when I have to tho but I like the AWD technology. When it's need it's activated which is good. I used to be stuck on the Mitsubishi evo but it's not worth it anymore. It's a great car but all around. Not me. I fell in love with the g37x lol. And besides. It's like I'll have a GTR kind of. Lol : p

No reason to get 2012 G37 coupe. The 2013 model is coming out late 2012. Might as well wait!

Yes, man! It's absolutely fantastic! I have the carbon fiber one on my car, and it's nothing but goodness. The quality and sound are unprecedented, and well worth the wait. I get compliments from hot chicks to old grandpa's. Everyone likes it. Have not heard or came across one bad thing about it yet.

It will slightly drone in the lower RPMs, though, but nothing annoying. No trouble from cops, either.

Like having an ill handling slow pig of a GTR......................Really I love the G's but if you expect too much you might end up being disappointed. They are great cars for what they are but slow compared to your old EVO and a dog compared to the GTR. What they are good at is having enough power to still be fun to drive, they handle good enough to still be fun to drive and they are a nice car inside.

With the mods you are planning it will help but with out going SC or TT you just aren't going to get that same rush. By the time you start putting that much money into a G you might as well go with something else.

Over all just be realistic with yourself and you won't be disappointed.
