Has anyone molded their oem trunk lip???

Has anyone molded their oem trunk lip???

Ive searched and havent seen anyone with an oem spoiler that been molded. How do you think it would look?? I think it would look sweet!! Post pics if you got em!

Why? What happens when you have a problem with the LEDs in the spoiler?

good point... i dont really care about leds... so, what if i just took them out and molded over the led slot... problem solved... no?

IDK how much molding with cost. But I think it be better off buying used after market trunk that already has the look you are looking for.

Or try it and let us know~~~ GL!

Yea one of the SoCal guys has a nice looking trunk. I can't remember off hand which one though.

this is custom molded OEM trunk. He used to have OEM spoiler (3rd brake lights + reverse camera) too. Now the camera's at the diffuser and third brake light is at the rear parcel shelf

LOL xlack at the fate of the 3rd brake lights. But wow, having the camera on the diffuser is stealth! i can't see it, and didn't know weiboy changed the placing there. Any close up pics of the camera??

nothing special. u know where the center mesh piece for AKX V2 diffuser? He glued it on the mesh
