Rainy days...

For those of you not in the Useless Thread.
I got with Josh@Stillen and he was great getting me the front and rear Stillen lips. Fitment was flawless, especially in the front where it probably doesn't need any tape or fasteners to hold it on. I noticed that there weren't many on here with these lips, but I really think they go well with the aero sides. The front looks very nice when molded, but I haven't decided whether to go that way or not. I still have half a pint of paint left, so maybe in the future.
Some quick shots on my cell phone camera today... Will try to have a proper shoot tomorrow pending the weather is nicer.

definitely needs molding... EVERYTHING on a G should be molded to hide any kinda rough lines that adding a lip/side skirt/rear will give our cars...

I agree, but it is a lengthy process. Maybe I'll buy a backup bumper in the next couple of months, and go from there.

Wet grounds are great for taking pictures.

Looks good bro, but I have 2 questions:
1.)Did you have to modify the inside of the front bumper/lip to fit the L&R faux vents? When I did mine, they didn't look like they would snap right in anymore. I was planning on having to modify mine to get them to fit.
2.)Did you install the rear yourself or have a shop do it? It looks like there are two areas around the curves that need some heating up with the heat gun to help with the gaps.

I agree with the fitment of the front lip though, it was spot on!

Thanks.
1. No modification at all. I did a test fit before peeling off the 3m backing tape and it literally popped right on. Like I said, I'm sure I could've driven around without anything holding it on, but didn't want to be silly. :P

2. I installed both parts by myself with no help. The reason for the gap in the rear is because it poured down with rain right after I installed them, so I assume some of the tape lost some stickyness. I let it dry in the sun and just pushed it back on, after I used the screws they provided, and it has held strong so far.

I was skeptical of the rear; but having the whole thing painted, as opposed to leaving the diffuser as on the Stillen website, looks so clean I think.
