Whats up guys, just a quick noob question, if i put a X-Pipe on my stock exhaust will it make a difference in performance, and will the stock exhuast sound different.

 

deff will be a improvement over stock but i dont know how this will work on a stock catback? will it sound diff yeah more raspier.

 

shouldn't be much more raspier (if any at all) if you stay with OEM cats.

as for sound, i think it mainly depends on pipe diameter and muffler restriction. since you're staying with the oem muffler, this leaves pipe diameter.

increasing pipe diameter will probably deepen the tone (due to slower exhaust velocity?).
