Gas Gauge Issues
Gas Gauge Issues
Hey All,
I had a quick question. Is anybody else having issues with their gas meter readings being inaccurate? Maybe 10% of the time, my meter is way off (e.g. shows 1/8 of a tank when there is close to a full tank). When I shut off and restart, it normally shows the correct level of gas in the tank.
I thought it might be because I may have been parked on a hill but this seems to be a recurring issue for me.
I have a 2011 G37 6MT w/ about 2k miles. This should be something that's covered under warranty correct?
Just wondering if anybody else was having the same issue.
Thanks!

I had a similar problem on mine. The float at the fuel pump is known to occasionally stick on the G. The dealer will fix it for you if describe the problem to them.

I have a gas gauge issue with my '08. It seems when I filli it up, the gauage used to show that the tank is full (actually a little more than full) as soon as I turned the car on. Now, the gauge shows it a little below full and than slowly (within a few minutes) works itself up to over the full mark.
