Have any of you guys with Malbec paint gotten any touchups done? I'm wondering if it's going to be something the local shop can replicate or if I'll have to get paint from the dealer.

Hey guys,

I drive a 2011 Infiniti G37 IPL 7AT Coupe and recently got my headlights painted and modified with halos. I live in Canada so unfortunately all Canadian G37 Coupes had a faulty DRL (daytime running light) relay installed in the headlights so I cannot have my halo's operate solely as my DRL because my low beams stay on all the time and cannot be turned off. The American G37's don't have this issue because the relay is not installed on the vehicles. The only way to bypass the relay for me so my headlights can function properly is to overwrite my BCM (Body Control Module) with an American car's BCM Part #. The BCM Part # can be obtained by going to the dealer and they plug in their Consult scan tool machine, its a very quick process. I need the same model G37 for this to work, which is a 2011-2012 Infiniti G37 IPL 7AT Coupe. If someone has one of these models and is willing to go to the dealer and get their BCM Part # for me that would be greatly appreciated! I really want to enjoy my new headlights and have them function correctly..

Thanks for your time,
Mark

Hoping you're still on this forum. Can you provide more details on your setup? I'm looking to get the same coilovers from Tein. In the above pic, is the front dropped to the lowest height for the coilovers? I'm wondering if I get the same setup, whether I have room to adjust it a bit higher than what you have in the front.

Do you have any camber kit installed? If not, did you have any issues with getting an alignment afterwards?

Thanks!

New Pics

Hello All,
Just thought I would post a few more updated pictures, Since the last time, I finally got my suspension set up. I installed hotchkis front/rear sway bars, spc end links, and a bilstein B16 coilover kit. I also worked on the engine bay by installing a carbon fiber engine cover and Z1 motorsport CAI.

Hello

Had an '11 7AT IPL and the transmission took all the fun out of it. The 6MT really makes a world of difference although the clutch spring is way too stiff for my liking.

Yea the car is super jerky. I’ve been meaning to swap my spring too for the past 8 years already but haven’t got around to it.

Ordered mine from Jsolo yesterday and it was shipped within a few hour for $29. I can't imagine driving like this for 8 years!?
