Stillen front spoiler molding **In Progress**
Plastic welding is actually the process of using a special, soldering iron like, tool to melt the plastic of the spoiler, the bumper, and a 3rd flexible, solder like, plastic. Then blending all the plastics together to form a bond. No glew or putty was used to hold it together.
The finishing putty to do all the cosmetic work was a 3M product that is a flexible putty to prevent cracking.
Nice finally seeing your ride yesterday man and finally meeting you! Looks a hell of a lot better in person then just pics on the forum. Wish you could have made it to the photo shoot. The red would have been a nice mix in sea of black G's Fezzik's beautiful vert was the only variety that we had!
Lip looks great though, looking forward to seeing the rest of the things you were talking about come to fruition!

It was great finally meeting you guys and the MN guys as well. Yeah I'm a little upset at myself for not meeting up for the photoshoot earlier in the day What is fruition??
Thanks my man! I actually did the work myself so I just paid for materials and the parts. I can't estimate what a shop would charge to do it. I would definitely find one who has done this type of work before.
Haha, the state of bearing fruit
. I cannot wait for the things you were talking about to eventually bear some fruit haha! Here ya go bud:

Thanks for the clarification bro!
Thanks for the clarification bro!
Bumper turned out amazing, and looks even better in person! Definitely worthy of some mad props on the hard work and attention to detail which I know first hand.
Bondo? Really? Please don't even use that word on these forums...leave it to the honda and chevy forums
Poly Urithane "FUSING" (Lord Fusor or 3m 2part epoxy) is NOT cheap, not to mention 90% of bodyshops won't even TOUCH it because its so time consuming, and risky. Ususally starts out by a 2 stage "cement/glue", riveting, a LOT of sanding, very little filler, and paint. A shop would charge you 500-1000 just for the molding process, not to mention painting.
Don't worry about it, Jared just pulled sh*t outta his ***...literally

.....and yeah I'm pretty sure Jared pulled that out of his backside
All apologies… I will work towards decreasing the capacity of vernacular used when addressing such an audience (not the forum, just Lance and Damien, mainly Lance).
Or, so to speak, for you two: I talk dumber for you to understand!
