i think i am a car wh0re

Something wrong with me, i think i will never can settle with one car for long. i have 11' G37s coupe purchased in March this year, all paid in cash. i should be happy now, no car notes, and decent car. but now i regret that i didn't buy bimmer i test drove the same day. i went to bimmer dealer, was planning to get 11' M3, but then thought hell, why not just save some $, and G37s is very decent car. matter of fact, i had 09' before and 10' M35. but if even i bought m3, am i going to be fine? i doubt it. what is wrong with me. maybe becausei have driven many exotic cars, that changed my perspective> i don't know. i tried to tell myself that many people see G37s as car of their dream. i need to be thankful about what i have now.

Here we go again, and again, and again... More endless discussion about German performance vs. Japanese reliability. It's played out guys.

I know what you guys mean, I had a Lambo, then traded it in for a Porchse GT3, then I got a Nascar and now, I am just itching for a Redbull F1. What am I to do.....wow, are those the biggest issues you guys have in your lives, must be nice.

it is not really German vs. Japanese made. i had three Acura and Three infiniti for the past 10 years. Blueninjabron, you are correct, i hope there is other issues than just fus about why i don't have this or that car here. i am 37, i thought it maybe due to midlife crisis. then it's like that for many years. as a guy, we all love to have nice sport car, but my problem is i never satisfied with one, and instead of just thinking about it, i've gone out to acutally buy one. and keep on going. i never owned any car over 100k, but i did drove many cars even more than 300k.

I hear you OP, I've been wanting an ISF for the longest time and it just so happens the blue color that I want is available right now. I've had the urge to sell the G, but I know I shouldn't and I've had it for only 5 months lol. But the saved money is always good

What exactly is the saved money good for? You can't spend it when you're dead..

Go buy the car you really want and enjoy the hell out of it!

i have to disagree with you, Jarborn1. you will have to save money to spend money. that is how i pay my cars in cash. i couldn have bought 100k one, but settle for 45k G. yeah, i am still thinking about M3 or E63AMG. but i try to keep it in thinking mode. i have two young daughter. my goal is to have $100k for each of them for college fund. with this economy, even with 100k saving, i don't even feel safe. that is why i can't stand myself having thoughts to sell my 3 months car

I work in Citiplace building near downtown, so i take Dart every day (it goes direct under my building). but in my garage, i always see there is totally blackout G37 there, pretty clean one. i drive in Allen and Plano lot of time. maybe i will c u sometime. have been wanting to go to montly Car and Coffee at Classis bimmer, jsut haven't found time yet. so did you buy your rim directly from Vossen or other retailer?
