Moving from Atlanta to CT. Should I let the G go??

So I'm moving from Atlanta to CT for work. CT roads are the worst!! I swear I have never hit so many potholes and driven on so many uneven roads in my life. This really takes away from the daily driving experience. Since this is my daily driver, I really don't think the car is going to last! It doesn't feel the same since the move. So I'm actually thinking about getting an SUV for the roads. My first choice is an Audi Q5 fully loaded. What do you guys think? Should I make the switch? Has anyone else made a switch do too road conditions?

I'm driven alot in CT and didn't think the roads were that bad. Why don't the you think the suspension on the G couldn't handle it?

any car you want I can help you obtain one if you move to CT. The 18" wheels on your journey coupe will be fine for CT roads.

unless you're slammed and have stretched tires I don't see what the issue would be driving on rough roads.

I live in Oakland and majority of the roads are crap but my G handles it pretty well since i dodge all the potholes.. but I think consistent uneven roads along with potholes that make your car flex a lot will in time loosen the interior (dash and anything that has a screw or glued) so I do recommend you changing cars if it's that bad.

i just thought the exact same thing before i got to scroll down haha

CT roads are a breeze to drive on, i had an X coupe lowered on eibachs with stock 18s, it was fine.

i drove around NYC a few times with it too but that was like a freakin obstacle course, i usually try to avoid driving through the city ....really i try not to leave suffolk with my cars if i can avoid it

I've lived in CT my entire life and I have hit many potholes. Luckily I have never had any issues from it. My x coupe is lowered on eibachs and rolling on 20's and its my daily driver. KEEP YOUR G!! I dont want to hear anything more about getting rid of it.

I drive to Manhattan almost every Sunday and it's a PITA but you know how to dodge some dips and curves.

I live in coastal SC, where they haven't spent any money on fixing roads since the Carter era. Just dodge 'em like I do... It gives you a chance to experience the G's handling.

NJ has some **** roads because all they keep doing is patchwork instead of repaving. I end up taking Route 1&9 and Route 78 on my way to work, there are so many potholes in the Newark area its not funny. Now instead of getting on 1&9 I take the airport roads to the exit to 78 but 78 is torn up from trucks. And what I found to be amusing is that when I got on Rt 10 today, I saw they did some patchwork.... except on the patch I have to go over getting onto it from the road I take. NJ roads are bad, not as bad as NYC, but very bad. I have complained to the Turnpike Authority because they oversea all these roads, they do nothing. Hell, it took them 6 months to move a downed light pole on Rt 78 that was hanging in the shoulder almost on the road in the express lanes.
