after the cars broken in ???????

hey everyone just picked up a 11 g37x cpe .love it ,and learned alot form this site . just got a quick question. i had to get the factory spoiler put on the car and they gave me a 09 g37x sedan with 16000 miles on it as a loan a car ,it felt a goog amount more responsive and faster than mine ,granted my car has 300 miles on it lol , do these cars need time to open up and feel faster ? mine felt a little sluggish compared to the loan a car , thanks

Sedans are also lighter I believe. I got a dumb question... Are the 09 sedans drive by wire as well?

i think i know what the problem is... i was reading about all the tranny problems some people were having , and that there was a reflash that the dealer does to fix this , i think the 11s have this flash thats why the 09 i drove the throttle response was so much better than mine .... 09 u tap the gas a little it pulls pretty good , mine you have to push it down at least half way to get the same result ,,, anyone feel that way ?

Well we all know about the throttle lag issue we talk about all the time....But besides that, im going to go out on a limb and say that the loaner has probably been driven like it was stolen for its entire lifespan. I dont know anyone that really takes it easy on loaners. So im sure the ecu is used to its driver requiring lots of power fast.

how does you car feel is the throttle responsive good or do you find you have to hit the gas a little harder for the car to get going ?

The throttle response at times is honestly terrible, you can go about halfway down before it kicks in.

Then at other times, il tap it and il be pushed back into my seat, its clearly not that there is a lack of power, its def. a throttle response issue. I am going to unplug my battery and drive way more aggresively and see if that resets my ecu

yeah def seeing a throttle response issue. its more of an issue when just in regular drive than when useing the sport shifter or paddles....but damn does my xS handle well like a beast....
