[/IMG][/IMG]Just got my first G about three months ago. Went with a 20% tint all around except for the headlights which are 45%. Just dropped it with BC coilovers. Wheels are in its near future (still trying to decide which way to go). Please tell me what you rhink so far.

Welcome to the family. Tinting headlights? Not a fan. I find it looks bad and not particularly safe either. Got any pictures?

Welcome to the forum! Post up some pics for us to see. I will wait to judge the headlight tint until I see it...

Welcome. I can't understand why anyone would tint their headlights, it's a really bad idea. Did you consider painting the housings instead?

Welcome!
I noticed you're from the SD area, feel free to come out and meet some of the SD people. I think most of us don't even really know each other so it's a perfect time to come out.

Hope to see you there

The tint on the head lights isn't dark enough to effect the brightness much. I still get good visibility at night. I just like the look of a slightly darkened head light.

I did consider painting them but when I had my windows and tail lights done, the guy at the tint shop had the same tint on his jetta and I liked the look.

I agree.....if your going to go that route with tinting them, just get the overlays from BlueBat! Gonna order my front and rear GTR style set in about a week or so

Welcome to the party. +1 for Bat's overlays. Bonus is he's local for us so you can just shoot him a message and he'll bring whatever you're looking for to the next San Diego meet. The tinted headlights don't look bad, but I'd be careful since that's almost asking for a ticket. Hell, I wouldn't even do it and NV is pretty chill.

P.S. I want some lighter tails when I get back!
