how to install a carbon fiber diffuser

i just bought a carbon fiber diffuser for my g37 coupe, how do i install it?

i think 3m double sided tape is all thats needed.

i did a search and it should be held by 3m tape along with 2 pre drilled holes underneath.

Yes, it's only held up by double sided tape (3M). I know some have used some type of promoter and adhesive... I cant remember right now. Mine's only held up with the tape and its on there pretty good.

did u buy it used? if yes, make sure you clean the inside surface of the diffuser first before applying new double sided tape.

My autokits is held on with 2 OEM style clips underneith, and one behind the tag, along with the 3m tape.

Mine has 2 screws, adhesive promoter and double side tape and it is on there REALLY good.

Just installed a status elite one a few days and all I used was 3M double sided tape. Holds pretty good. Before the status elite one I had the autokits one and that one did have 2 slots to put screws in.

The 3M tape will absolutely hold it. The autokits has the added bonus of screw holes but they aren't needed, but obv don't hurt

yeahh def the 3m should do it.. shouldnt be too much of a need to drill

Lol. Good catch captain obvious.

I don't have the diffuser but I'm going to go out on a limb here. Assuming no drilling.
To the op.
1.Test fit.
2. Clean and prep areas with adhesion promoter
3.Then peel double sided tape cover off, from the area that will be touching the car.
4. Apply pressure.

okay so installed it but the top and stuff you can see the double side tape its not flush,

U gotta get the double sided tape as close as u can to the edge of the diffuser man. Post pictures so we can see what ur talking bout.
