For the tint I say go as dark as they allow but make it even on the sides.
20% looks nice
10% on the back windshield

Not sure what you mean by does the car get faster over time? Do you mean after you break the engine in?

our cars have problems breathing. you should see the oe exhaust system. oy! intakes and exhaust are great for these in particular. anyways, yes the car does indeed get a bit quicker; a small bit noticeable i suppose. as for tints, get whatever carbon based you want (suntek is my personal favorite). johnson brand looks too blue and unnatural. my windshield has a non-gloss/reflective llumar tint. go for NON-METALLIC tints. for suntek - 18% is non metallic.

congrats on your new car! you'll appreciate not visiting your dealer frequently

German cars always seem to pop up with electrical problems in high numbers.

Yep... Got rid of my 540iT and got the G37 coupe due to a rash of electrical problems with the Bimmer. Congratulations on your new car - you're gonna love it.

biggest mistake i did was going from a bmw 335i to g37s. im not saying the g37s is a bad car. im just saying i've never had as much problems with the bmw compared to the infiniti.
my infiniti spent more time at the dealership than with me.

nonsense. I have yet to hear of BMW reliability. Mechanically excellent doesn't equal reliable.

i had a '07 335i for 2 yrs. and i put 46k miles with no problems. i've had the G37s for close to 3 yrs and put 42k miles with many many problems such as: brakes, dashboard, speakers, seat bubbling, exhaust, speedometer stuck, fuel gauge not working, window leaking.

I went from a BMW 335i to the G37. I liked the performance of the 335i - much better drivetrain. But I like the ride of the G37 better, my reason for the move. On reliability - I find them about same, based on visits to the dealer service for repairs. But BMW has much longer intervals between routine service, which are free. All in all, I like the G37 better.
