Bought my 08s in 2009 with zero miles for 35k. So...not sure that is the greatest deal, but F it! You already have the car - just love it!

Yeah man, don't sweat it if you really love the car. Unless you have something lined up for cheaper, just let it go and enjoy the car. Where are you located man so we can get an idea of what the prices are like in your area?

damn where did you get that black one? was that out the door for 27k? thats insane...im in San diego CA...so theres another reason why its expensive...and it had 33k miles on it....i took it back an hour ago, the sales manager says if i come back in 24 hours he will refund the 500 dollars and act like nothing happened...but i think if i wait in time, and take care of all my side issues...then i will be ready for one, possibly an auto though cuz then the wife can drive it, or even a sedan...not sure though. we can last a while with one car for now, and keep on saving and what not.

Go back and get your $500 back. Otherwise give the BBB a call and tell them about their business practices. They can't charge you for a product you never received. If you have a copy of the contract where it says they keep $500 of your money if you bring the car back in 24 hours, scan it and send it to me (black out any personal info), I'll make a phone call and make it happen.

let me look over the papers and see what it says about that. i was told i had 48 hours to bring it back but it would cost 500 dollars. i guess its a restocking fee cuz the cash value of the car is over 10000 dollars. i apparently signed to purchase that ability to bring it back...hmm...maybe i shoulda read that a little more...oh well lesson learned.

now that i think about it, that was pretty shady for them to slip that one in there...and not say that there was a way to take it back without paying.

Yes that sounds a bit shady. I must commend you though, having such a nice car for a day and returning it takes a lot of self control. I would be emotionally attached to the car already lol.

Offer to re work the deal. Make a ridiculous low offer and force them to meet you in the middle. Offer let's say 25k and settle for 27.

Here's another free advice. Never buy an used car for asking price. Prices are always negotiable.
