TRADED IN THE 08 g37 COUPE!

Hey guys, I had my Infiniti since Jan 2008, put about 55k on it, was paid off but I was ready for something new.

TO CLARIFY, i didnt buy this car because of GAS, I just wanted a new car. I love the Audi styling and wanted something comfy, and figured why not get a good MPG car since performance and Hp was not a concern.

With gas prices reaching $4+ I wanted something diff, less power better MPG and picked up a 2011 Audi a5 2.0t. So far I miss the G's power but love the awd and 27mpg average!

Going to miss the g37 community but I may be back with the next gen coupe!

Good luck to all you!

Below are some pics I took, one with an SLR, and the bottom with an iPhone 4.

Nice looking car; how buying a more expensive car saves you gas money? Isn't the A5 over 50K loaded?

A5 is a nice car but definitely overpriced. Congrats on the ditch and switch though...

That's an awesome car man. Definitely a step up. That 2.0 may be down on power, but it sure doesn't feel like it when you're driving around town. What options did you get on the A5? I see you got the Prestige (LED headlights), did you get NAV as well? Post up some more pics damn it lol

Lol gas goes up a few cents and people run to the dealerships to trade their cars. Nice downgrade, but at least the 2.0t is very mod friendly.

Unless you only wanted a coupe did you consider the M35 hybrid?

Depending on how much you drive, the gas savings is $50-$70 a month. Even after the trade your payment has to be $250/month. If you bought in cash you're definately missing out on more then $50 in interest a month on the money you could have invested. The gas savings is definately not an economical justification for the swap....

27mpg -> very sceptical about, I use to drive 1.8T and never got same results.

Why car with engine from Passat/Golf could be called as step up by someone?
