I own both an 09 g37 and a 09 z4 vert, but I wouldn't trade one for the other, it's honestly two totally different rides... are you looking at the hard top or the vert ? the free service will be nice. I haven't had any major problems with it.. if I had to compare.

The G has more space, more trunk, more room in the drivers side.
The Z4 is quicker, lighter and a vert.
The Z4 leather is better, and I don't have any squeaks like my G.
Free service on the BMW is great.
You do hear road noise in the BMW but nothing like the Lotus Elise if you've tried that out.
I like the look of both pretty much the same, for a roadster I perfer the Z4 over the 370z.
But again I don't kno if I'd trade one for the other though, that's a tough call.

It's a different drive. Take one for a long test drive. If you're still unsure, rent one for a weekend.

Yeah like Mike said you have to drive one. The 2011 has some nice options to it, which model were you looking at?

I guess im the only one that doesnt like that car ehh... what the hell 65k for 300hp, and BMWs terrible reliability.

Same here...I don't quite get this infatuation with BMWs. I drove 525i, M5, 545, 850i (a real slow POS), 320 and been driven in 740 and 745. I honestly did not like any of them, always preferred Audi. BMW interiors suck, reliability too, and while in USA they cost a bit more than others, everywhere else they seem to cost at least 30% more.

Here in Kuwait, a 320 costs more than my G37 vert....crazy!

^ I don't know what a 320 is but a z4 is far from 65k, I don't even think the M Roadster was that price. I'm not too concerned with reliability I don't keep cars over 2-3 years so during that time BMW's 5 year free maintiance has me covered, it just comes down to luck, personally my G has been in for service more than any of my other cars (very minor issues) but I'm sure some with BMW have had the complete opposite experience.

It all comes down to preference

There's just something about driving a roadster top down that appeals to me...

RYs: the Z4 gets really expensive really quick when you load up options....

I haven't seen the 11's, but I have never liked the Z3 or Z4. Honestly I thought they were herendous designs in an otherwise nice collection of vehicles.
