Question What to expect from Infiniti Service

Well it looks like i have the dreaded muffler rattling problem i've seen mentioned around here.

I'm going to take the car in late this/next week and was wondering what should I expect from the Infiniti dealership. I'm still under manufacturer's warranty.

How efficient are they, should i plan on loosing the car for the entire day ?
Do they normally give loaner ?

I'm thinking of Sheehy Infiniti in Annapolis.

Put DO NOT WASH on a piece of paper and tape it to the steering wheel.

Don't let them wash your car.

All depends on your dealer. Same thing with washing the cars. My dealer has the guy who does the pre-delivery detailing wash the cars so he does a pretty good job.

Your questions really depends on the dealership.

Be ready to lose your car the whole day, but it shouldnt be a problem because they should give you a loaner.

I prefer to wash my car myself and would usually just have them vacuum the inside, but when my car is really dirty and I get lazy or have no time to wash, my dealership has the option for us to "handwash" my car, instead of taking it to the carwash.

to close this thread out. I made a reservation on the website yesterday afternoon, took her in this morning and was out 90 minutes later with brand new mufflers and a courtesy check up.

They were going to offer a loaner if it was going to take more than 2 hours to fix.

All in all great service from start to end.

I declined the free car wash since it was raining :-)

I'm taking my 08' in tomorrow for the same thing. Ill be taking it TSB paper in with me. From the way the service guy talked it should be no problem to be replaced. Hopefully they have one in stock and ready to go.
