With VDC off in my 6MT I can slide out in a hurry. Dont know where you are locate but you can come to MD in our next snow and slide all you want. After you wind up wrapped around a tree you can use the insurance money to go buy a 6MT and .....problem solved!

So many people complain about the VDC system. They dont appreciate it until they crash or have a near crash experience.

I can spin the wheels through 3rd, if I try to. With the VDC off and a good sense of throttle control it's very easy to break traction.

Of course b/w the tires and mods and tuning, I'm sure your OEM AT G and my modded 6MT are on somewhat different playing fields

Turning off VDC only disables the stability control. It does not disable the traction control.

From page 5-49 of the manual

The VDC system uses an Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) function to improve vehicle traction. The ABLS system works when one of the driving wheels is spinning on a slippery surface. The ABLS system brakes the spinning wheel, which distributes the driving power to the other drive wheel. If the vehicle is operated with the VDC OFF switch pushed and the VDC system is turned off, all VDC systems will be turned off. The ABLS system and ABS will still operate with the VDC system off. If the ABLS system is activated, the "SLIP" indicator will blink and you may hear a clunk noise and/or feel a pulsation in the brake pedal. This is normal and is not an indication of a malfunction.

oh God how old are you?

Really you want to try and destroy your rear axle and tires and drive shaft?

Turn VDC off, manual mode and leave it in 1st gear then hammer it. This works better on snow or rainy days.

Actually you can still get wheel spin very easily depending on which G you have. I have a 2010 G37S Sedan and it can't lose traction with VDC off. However I had a non sport G37 loaner from the dealer. I turned VDC off and that things just wheel spins like crazy. Check it out on YouTube. Just search "2010 G37 0-60 VDC"

The fact that the G does not spin the rubber of of the wheels is a good thing, It means the power is getting to the ground to hook up and take off!

Flip off the VDC and take your ride up to the twistys were it is meant to be driven an I guarantee you will find more than enough power there to make you blurp your BVD's.

Burnouts on the street just to show off are for schmucks and Kat's with small P.P. issues anyway!
