Looked at the M3 coupe and S5, too expensive and too much maintenance, but now I'm thinking one year old CTS-V coupe.
Could afford one of the new ZL1 camaros next year but I hate the interior compared to ours.

My next car will likely be Jaguar's new sport sedan, the XS, since I had an X-Type Sport 5MT before I got the G. Love British cars, especially Jags. They just have a certain charm about them and I love the way they drive.

201x Jaguar XS Sport 6MT, or if they build it, XS-R 6MT.

In about 3-5 years, I'm hopin for either a used Cayman S or if it's out, an RX-7 successor, especially if it's as sexy as the FD.

It is funny to read all that above, whoever could get Lamborghini in two years wouldn't get G today Jags, gtrs, m3-5, porche...stop dreaming people and look on this cars price tags first
I just paid off my G and by the end of 2012 I will trade it to new 335i, that is only car that I think I will like and realistically afford same time. Used Z4 with low miles also sounds good.

But all above will also depend on whatever will happen with gas, I might trade on Mini as well

I'm thinking either the Audi S5, the new BMW M5 (when it comes out), or, if I like it, the next generation G37S.
