Well my father has the STS and it's also a gigantic piece of crap but I know they build the CTS's and the Escalade's differently because they're the best sellers. I have friends with CTS's/CTS-V's and they seem very solid.

EDIT: Plus even if I would get the S4 I'd be chipping it to make more power

Its not like Infiniti out a gun to your head and told you to drive in such a manner that was illegal. The James Bond g37 Sedan thread was 10x more meaingful than this, anmd that thread was pretty damn pointless.

So if manual says oil change every 9k miles thats when they will do it and not any sooner.

So if you are like me and do oil changes more frequently than the manual says, you are screwing the pouch on a BMW.
For the E46 3-Series (99-05), the free scheduled maintenance was once every 24000 KM (or 15000 miles)

Ah you need to either get out of your state or make better connections because I can get the S4 for about $625 a month with about $3000 down and they're not $300 oil changes lmfao wtf are you talking about...We've had for Audi's in my family so I know how much maintenance is on them...my problem is the fact that Infiniti gives you a big deal about EVERY LITTLE THING even the TSBs that they're supposed to fix...I'd rather not deal with the hassle every time I go to the dealership.

Oh and I can get the 335xi with about $3500 down for about $550 a month with M package and fully loaded from a dealer over here in NY

BMW maintenance is way better. You pay for ZIP for 45000 miles and the oil changes are once a year 15K. I have to argue to change the oil schedule to 7500 in the Infiniti. I don't live in the city, nor do what the schedule for 3500 says...but they argue with me all the time. Annoying...if there is a place that qualifies for that schedule why list it?

And the BMW isn't much more expensive than the Infiniti, but if you want to think that...you are paying for the maintenance in payment, which is better than being nickel and dimed for service. I don't know where you get oil changes for $20, but they are 45...and if you do every 3500 miles that's 4 oil changes a year for 15000 which is 160/year times 3 which or $380...or basically adding $10 a month to your lease payment.

I like my G, but I have to laugh at one of the salesman's pitches of service is HALF of BMW...I kept saying I don't understand what half of zero means to me.

ya you must know the owner personally then. sounds more like lease prices, unless those are but even at that still way low. and if you coulda then maybe you shoulda. that ever occur to you?

Base 335 sedan starts at 41,100. These dont even come with real leather. BMW has a warranty that last for 4 years/ 50k miles, both bumper to bumper and powertrain. BMW offers free maintenance within the warranty period. 335 has 300hp and 300lbs of torque. A 335 with all the features of a fully loaded G will run you about 57,025 dollars per BMW's website. BMW is known for reliabilty issues.

Base G37 sedan starts at 35,400. Real leather is standard. Infiniti has a 4yr/60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty and a 6yr/70,000 miles powertrain warranty. G37 sedan comes with 328hp and 269lbs of torque. A fully loaded G37 sedan cost 44,225 dollars per Infiniti's website. G37 is known to be a very reliable car that requires little maintenance compared to a bmw.

HMMM.... Not much of a choice to me. G37 FTW. It may have less torque and I may have to pay for maintenance yet its still thousands of dollars less than a comparably equipped 335 and is 10x more reliable.
