Thinking of selling my Carrera TT and going to G37 - any thoughts

I'm new to this forum and have been thinking of going from my Carrera Twin Turbo and going to something a little easier for a commute.

It's highly modified and not the easiest to drive in rush hour traffic.

Will I get a reasonable thrill driving a G37?

Here is what I presently drive:

Thoughts?

It'll be a humongous step down performance and thrill wise, but a step up in terms of practicality for a daily commute. Nice car.

Welcome to the forum.

How about I make it easy for you and we just trade?

I'm ~700hp, with upgraded suspension and other supporting modifications.

I know that it won't be as quick, unless I TT or SC the G, but I'm getting to the point where I'm thinking something a little more sedate would be appropriate.

I like the styling of the G and we have an FX for our other vehicle and just love it. I'm thinking the G might be the right move while still being sporty.

We only have a two-car garage, and my wife doesn't want anything in the driveway or in the street, so if I get another car for the daily commute, I've got to get rid of the P-car.

Coming from a TT porche, a GTR might fit you better.

I was thinking you all might be more supportive and touting the positive aspects of the G. Would I be that disappointed?

BTW, my wife doesn't think I should do it either...

I see. I agree with everyone above. Seems like the Nissan GTR may be a better fit for you.

A performance orientated super car that is daily drivable. Check out the new 2012. I believe it got a bump in horsepower putting it at a respectable 530 AWHP 0-60 in 3.3 sec

I my G, but, in regards to cars, this might be one of the only times I would suggest listening to the wife.

Nice welcome!

I do consider my wife in my decisions - it does make for a happy home.

like you said, you want something easier to drive though traffic... so you answered your own question... what else is there to choose from:? BMW 335i is slower... A5 is unappealing unless you go with a S5 (twice the price of G)... and in general in everything else you wont feel the exclusivity of a Turbo...

if you are looking for something with character and faster than anything else in the segment I would look at the G.. wouldn't hurt to take a look at the convertible at that..

i dont know what your budget is, but CLK63 black series should be right for what you need...
and if you happen to get another TT let a tuning house do the work...
