Info: 2011 Sport & IPL Front Bumper

So we were curious to see what the going prices were from the dealer for 2011 Sport and IPL bumpers for those who want to freshen up their 08-10 coupes.

Get this...

The 2011 SPORT bumper is $1400 vs $360 for 2010 SPORT (shop price) and they only come painted ! I don't know what idiot made that decision, but I could already see everyone's insurance premium sky rocketing !

The IPL bumper is simply not available, so if you wreck your bumper, you're sold out of luck !

We're trying to find out if the foglights off the 2011 NON-SPORT bumper will bolt onto the 08-10 SPORT bumpers without any rigging, otherwise... a bracket for the foglights will need to be made and secured to the bumper support. The 2011 bumpers have "pockets" that are part of the bumper which hold the foglights in place.

So far, the parts required:
Fog lights
Fog light rings
Side bumper vents
Windshield washer tank

Possibly a custom fabricated bracket to secure down the foglights.

We'll keep you guys updated as we find out more info on the bumpers and foglight retrofits.

The IPL bumper is available, it's called the "aero kit" front bumper.

FYI... the chrome bezel is for the limited edition/aero kit bumpers... the IPL has a black bezel around the size grills

Just have it painted.

Dealers in my area are taking fully loaded 2011 G37S and putting the Aero kit on them with fogs and making them up $4500.

So yes you can have it.

IMO, the chrome ringed lights don't look right with this style car, should be alum or black

Im very interested in this thread, please keep us posted. Asked a local modding shop how much they would charge to install two fogs down in the vent area and they said close to $500 so that is pretty much rediculous. So hopefully ole Igor can get this knocked out.

i think it's because the aero bumper, IPL bumper, and sport bumper all already have the scratch shield clear coat on it and it's painted from the factory...thats the reason for costs

Just ask the dealer for the "aerodynamic kit". It's a 5 piece kit; front bumper, left side skirt, right side skirt, rear bumper, and spoiler. Infiniti makes it for the G sedan, coupe, convertible, and M sedan.

You can get it as an OEM option (it includes the black grille), or you can buy it as a standalone dealer accessory.
