2011 G37 IPL Pics

Saw a Black G37 IPL today. I tried to get shots of the interior but the rain made it difficult. However, the interior was black w/ red leather seats.

I forgot to get a close up of the rims, but they were cool too.

Never seen a IPL, or even know what it is, I'm getting behind inmy G37 knowledge.

Hoep I did the attachment correctly

The IPL is basically like the Nismo 370Z, but for infiniti.

It's basically a fully loaded G37 couple with a new bodykit and rims.

The sticker price is $48k, but you get some extra stuff you don't get on regular G37. Like an increase of 18hp, new dual exhaust, tuned suspension, new brakes, red leather seats, etc.

Also for the color, it's malbec black. More of a purple-ish black color.

The interior with the red seats and with black dash looks great too, until you see the light headliner and pillars which looks completely clashes with the red. They use the same headliner and pillar color on all interiors

Saw that color up close on the new M, it is nice. I don't like the big ice cream scoop air damn up front. Looks to rice IMHO.

i saw one yesterday, some old dude was taking it for a test drive..pretty sweet. he didn't have the red interior though. i think with an aggressive set of wheels it would definitely fit the car better because of its body kit.

In person it doesn't look too bad, but I still don't think that it's worth the extra money they charge for it.

Yes, I saw that too and it did not look right.

I miss the 1970's interiors of GM cars. I had a 79 Camaro with dark blue interior, seats, dash, and headliner. All one color!

I guess car companies today go w/ the neutral or black only option to cut cost.

i heard a couple of rumors about Infiniti pairing up with Mercedes Benz... from what i understand MB has a new 3.0L turbo (or twin T) engine with an output of 400hp destined for IPL or G line, as well as some talk about using the 6.3L AMG engines (already outdated and removed from the MB lineup) for some other sedans.. to add to that they were also talking about co-branding the IPL line as AMG..

in return Nissan has to give up its GTR platform... I am a fan of MB so indeed looking forward to this collaboration!

As far as the IPL line goes its not a deal breaker for me... 18hp is not enough.. it would be a whole different story if it was outfitted with STILLEN intake, exhaust, and etc... so the HP is at least competitive with IS-F or the M3.. but its not.. and so i pass...

Nope wrong information.

Mercedes are giving Nissan their V8 engines
and in exchange Nissan are giving Mercedes their 1.8L engines

This happens because Nissan wants to build big cars and Mercedes wants to build city cars.

It has nothing to do with AMG and GT-R
