Who here actually likes the 2011 G37S?
General consensus here is that everyone hates the new G37s front end and wheels. At first I wasnt that excited for it but after looking at it more, i grew to like it a lot. for which I actually bought it. I have an '11 G37s in MW.
wheels im pretty happy with as is but i can always change them if i wanted to anyway. plans are for a mild drop likely on eibach pros, and non-aggressive offset CV2s.
im happy with the front end, maybe 3000k HID's in the foglights and a 6000k k bulbs for low beams. oh and i plan to add on OEM splash guards

heres a pic of it in my cramped garage just for the record. id pull it out but it's all wet out there and im stuck in the cave

Front end doesn't look good in pictures, but I'd like to see it in person to decide if I like it. Wheels are hands down horrible. Outgoing 19s are much nicer. I love the 19s offered as an option, but not at $2200.
I like it, except for the redesigned nose and wheels.
If I were in the market for one today, I'd most certainly get aftermarket wheels and order a new front clip from the dealer. I'd probably get the 2011 non-sport nose because it's the same as the 2010 nose, but with the factory lights included.

I recently bought an '11 xS and the front end is not bad at all. It is nicer in person than in some of the pics we've seen, especially in OB. The wheels though, they're... okay. But not great. I'll be looking into getting a set of CV1s when the weather improves. ;-)

I do, but like you, it took some time before I did. I was looking for a new car (after an idiot killed my '10) and had ruled out the G because of the looks of the Sport, but the shortcomings of the others I shopped led me back to Infiniti. There were some pictures posted in the media share that made the decision easy.

I've not to see it in person, but I'm still tending not to like it. It seems Infiniti was trying to have the lower fascia look like the ones on the BMW but thinner and straight. I prefer the look of the BMW M lower grill though since it's arched and thicker.

I think a lot of the negative perspectives on the 2011's will change when we start seeing them with nice mods. . . . Like what you said you're planning to do with Eibach PK's, and nice set of wheels.
I can see some potential with the new sport bumper but not with those hideous wheels! My brother will be shopping for a car in a couple of months and the G coupe is on top of his list. I already told him that if he ends up with a 2011 G37S, those wheels gotta go first and he can borrow my oem 2008 19's.

lol @ hideous wheels. theyre not that bad in person but then again that's just my opinion ( and maybe im just in denial as i own them already) but knowing myself, the wheels would eventually go anyway (even if i had a 2010 G37S)
as i said, mild drop for me and a non aggressive offset ( im done with stretch and poke and hellaflush illest etc.. etc movement) thats just me.
i do like the CV2's tho, and would like it nice and flush but not HELLAflush (LOL) and would like a mild drop so i can DD
I actually like it, it person it's pretty nice, just takes time to get used to, but the wheels I think will never be nice, oh and don't get 3k fogs there so horrendous, get 6k all around
