2011 Sport Splash guards

My dealer didn't think that any splash guards were available for a 2011 Sport Coupe. Please forgive me if this is on the main inifiniti site, as no 2011 data was available when I picked mine off the arriving truck...

On a second note, are splash guards even worth it? I am just in the habit of getting them on all my cars to protect the paint from chips.

brings the body line down closer to the ground. i like the way they look more than the fact that they protect the paint

I agree. Though the default sport setup seems to make it quite low....until I saw the spray from the first rain...

Yes, I do drive the car in the rain.

If anyone has photos of the '11 sport coupe with the splash guards, that would be even better. I am thinking that anything more on this body kit might be too much or just asking for road rash with the heights of curbs and high angles of approach around here.

2011 Sport with Guards

Here is mine. It's a 2011 Sport with the factory splash guards. Hope it helps.

I really think they are functional and worth it. Our neighborhood here in Highland was hit with some devastating mud flows last week. During the road clean up process we've had to drive through some pretty muddy roads to leave our home. Each time I hosed the car down I noticed a huge buildup of mud on the inside of the splash guards. This would have been deposited across the lower fender area had the guards not been in place.

BTW: How did you come up with "Petrified Dinosaur Dung" as a handle? Sorry, being a fossil collector I couldn't help but ask!

as far as i know.......the 2011 uses the same side apron as the 08-10 sport coupe.......and the rear bumper hasnt been changed.

therefore you should be able to order them and fit them on your car without any problem.

I saw a 2011 Sport with mud guards at the dealer. They are the same as 2010s.

Unless you have the "Aerodynamic" package, then they are not available.

Thanks guys. I think I will add them...Unfortunately it is a hike to the nearest dealer. maybe self install..

The flaming coprolites was the intramural team for my department(GEO) in school. Nerdy Geology humor gone overboard. I was a hybrid along with civil engineering.

With all the forums that I belong to, that was the first time anyone asked. I did give links to the coprolite wiki on others....

Very easy to install. Full instructions are included. Took me about 1.5 hours to install all four.

I'm pretty sure its very similar but with my '08, it's just double sided tape and a few screws to install. Took me less than 30 mins for the rears.
