Where can I find OEM windshield wipers?
#16
I bought a set (and I made sure it was the correct model numerous times) and the passenger blade was sticking up off of the windshield at the corner. I waited 2 weeks thinking it would take form but it didn't. I even exchanged them for another set and the same issue. I just had the dealer re-order the OEM ones for me.

I am a witness for the prosecution. I just attempted to replace my original blades. I started with Neoform. Passenger side blade they called out was 1.5 inches too long. I dropped to the 16" and it was still hanging over the cowl. Next I went for Bosch Icons. Same problem. I have a 2009 G37X Journey, and I have yet to see an aftermarket blade that fits on the passenger side. I left the Neoform on the driver;'s side, but I am going to buy the OEM for the passenger side unless somebody has a solution.

My OEM blades on my 2009 were incredible. I just had them changed, 2 years and 15,000 miles later. They just started to streak last month.
Ive always used the rainX blades or Icons on my other cars, and I could stretch them to 9 months to a year.
I had the dealer replace the blades thinking that they were OEM and they put something else on which wasnt OEM.

Old thread here but just have to comment. I went in search for the ultimate wiper blade and ended up with the top of the line Rain X blades for $15-20 each.
While I got 2 years out of them just like the OEM blades, they look like crap compared to the OEM blades. Where they connect to the wiper arm looks like a mechanical mess and is NOT a smooth outer appearance.
If you like the look of original blades, don't buy after market. They look really goofy where the blade connects to the arm. I'm headed to the dealer to get OEM for my second replacement set!

With blades I buy a winter set cheap ones cause they get destroyed no matter what brand. And swith to OEM or whatever u prefer for spring summer use. Don't spend big bucks on wipers for winter use they will break down quick, use them for summer only. That's my top gear tip of the day.

Walmart and get the Bosch for $30 for both! I drive in West Virginia often and with the bugs and the weather there they keep my window clear and makes no sound! Love then! Funny part is a nice elder lady that work there told me they were "The Best!" Yet to have me like Stevie Wonder and I've had for awhile. Thanks miss Daisy! Lol.

Looks like I have the Rainex ones on mine. They fit good and work well but in my past experience with them on my Accord, they don't last very long.
Also, and I didn't notice this until the other day when I was given a brand new G37 loaner, I noticed that the OEM blade sets were much lower profile. Mine stick up above the hoodline, however, the OEM's are almost flush and the arm attaches alongside the blade rather than on top of it.

Are you guys replacing the entire wiper arm and blade, or just the blade assembly? If just the blade, Doesn't it look bad where the blade connects to the arm when compared to OEM?

The Bosch Excel+ is entire arm and blade. Just push R/R! Personally I like better than OEM and last longer.
