Hey guys, here are pics of the IPL G37 at the LA auto show. Some differences in body, not much change in the interior, but the nav appearance was updated (at least from my 09). No tech data was posted. Didn't look like a supercharger under the engine cover... but we'll see.












This is the new Essence, no data on this either, just the model on display.

 

I wonder how much the essence will start at

 

not that I don't like the wave form look, but sometimes wish the coupe had some more edge to it... LIke more ferrari/lambo back-end than aston martin.

also i think the coupe is getting a little too round... ha ha REDUCE REDUCE

 

Until Infiniti grows the ballz to build the essence instead of just referencing it as inspiration for their future designs, you won't have to worry about the price.

There will be no supercharger or anything for IPL in 2011. As for the essence it's hideous and will probably cost more than the GTR. Performance will probably be amazing but the interior looks really bad in my opinion with wood and suede accents all over (I'm sure you can customize it but even then the center stack, driver seat, controls etc look horrible). The exterior is just OK, sort of a mix between an Aston and Merc roadster. Considering the essence will be Infiniti's halo car like the GTR is Nissan's I would rather have a M56 Coupe!

The Essence owns. It was a styling exercise, it's not a production vehicle that's why there are no specs listed.

Infiniti released the specs for the IPL a couple of months ago. There's no supercharger.

Man, for a car show, that IPL Coupe looks really dirty and dusty under that hood! No look like they really detailed it for the show, like they just drove it through a dirt road! LOL

 

Is that a Louis Vuitton clabo in the trunk w/ luggage??????? or did Infiniti just "knock-off" the Damier check?

 

It's real Louis Vuitton that was custom made for the Essence.

 

Infiniti have got to make the Essence.
So many people love the design of it, it's not even funny.
I was at the LA auto show too, and the Essence had more people looking at it than any other car at the show.

 

damn that matches my belt, I NEED this in the G... that Saks order on the special edition was a joke. I want an authentic Louis Vuitton trunk G! but wait.. that trunk probably costs more than the G AHAHAHH
