E92 simply means the model of the car.

It was a toss between the leftover G or a 1 y.o. 335i black red interior with 20k miles.
The bmw dealer was a ***** and wouldn't go lower than 600 bucks on the car. So I decided to save 7k and get the g37. I should have just gotten the 335i in terms of hp/$

last time i checked the 335i was at 300hp, msrp is like 40k (2009), and a 2009 g37 has 330hp and msrp at about 33k...

your statement has me mind bottled...haha

Honestly, no one has a right to call someone over the internet spoiled. You don't know who he is or anything about him. My dad bought me a used 08 IP G37S when I was 17 for my graduation present. It wasn't because I was spoiled, but because I worked my tail off in high school. Enough to get me into a top tier university. It was positive reinforcement for me and I work hard in school because I want to be able to afford things that I like in the future. It's sad to see people gang up on someone over the internet like that. It's a forum for G37 enthusiasts. His wording made him sound ungrateful but there's no need for people to repeatedly bash him. By the way, on the subject of the OP, I could never see myself driving anything but a G37 in this generation of cars. I like the styling of the E92 but too many people have them. G's ftw =]

It's great that you had the self-motivation to get into a top university, but lots of kids given expensive toys feel they're entitled to things later on in life and are in for a rude awakening. BTW, getting into a top university is only half the battle. A school name may get you on the radar for an interview, but that's about it in this economy.

I think people are irked by the comment, since the poster says he's "stuck" with a G. Most people here worked hard to pay for their G; the last thing they want to hear is someone complaining about getting one for free. Heck, I got an Accord sedan in high school. Did I dream of owning a more expensive car? sure. However, that car was awesome for 2 reasons: 1) It got me from point A to B 2) It was given to me by my parents. I treated that car as if it was a Porsche.

I meant to say after you put a jb3 in it. Maybe bigger turbos? not actually sure if tuning is cheap or not.

kind of ignorant to say because I pay for my own car. Parents don't buy me anything because I don't want it. I'm not no 23yr old ***** that has my parents buying me things. I work hard for what I have. Plz don't judge a book by it's cover you just might look stupid.

a few easy mods and you can have that 335 as fast, if not faster than a m3

Thats great if all you care about is speed. But at the end of the day its still not an M3.

I've driven both and nothing beats the overall package that you get in the M3.
