jealous... good luck to ya...

When I finally get rid of mine I think the bose system in general will be missed... I know there's better but I'm not 17 anymore and so upgrading stereo components is no longer interesting... The bose system was one of the few things that just worked for me with my car...

Keep in mind the spoiled youth are actively being spoiled.. They are not necessarily the only ones at fault.. Someone has to sign the sales contract...

No need to bash him... I hope to one day be able to spoil my kid too. He's probably a good kid. It's the ungrateful ones that need a smack.

LOL, of all the things to miss, you're gonna miss the Bose system? Personally I think it's lackluster. If I went to a BMW, I'd much rather have the Logic7 system. My friend's sounds so much better than mine.

Not saying there aren't better systems, but can't say I'm gonna pass on a car when I buy next just because it doesn't have the premium audio or w.e. Having that center speaker in the dash is heavenly..

Back to the OP topic...

Am I the only one who assumed when you said you bought an "08 BMW e92" that you in fact bought an M3? And really that when simply stated an E92 is always assumed that you would be talking about an M3 only?

I understand that technically you are simply stating that you now have a 5th gen coupe but isnt it generally expected to specify which you actually purchased (i.e. 325i, 325xi, 328i, 328xi, 335i, ((you get the point)))?

I don't know... maybe its just me but simply stated E92 means M3 to me...

I actually think that most people still reading this missed your second post and think you got an M3.

What model did you in fact get?

Or there is a second side to this and that is that I am wrong and about to get flamed... guess we are about to find out.

Damn, my first car was a Pinto Station Wagon, and I still had to break off some cash to my parents!

Well G Nack, you have it easy, enjoy! Just remember, your parents worked hard for your car! LOL
