Man that sucks! I guess that I shouldn't rub it in that I'm in sunny Florida and its 83 degrees today? All joking aside, its going to great when you pull it out in the spring.

 

Yeah....being in California I am not quite sure even how to think about this being possible. So sad!

 

I'm with everyone else, what is winter? Seriously, you could put snows on her.

 

What do you drive during the winter?

You don't worry about tire dead spots? Battery drain? Or any other issues associated with storing your car long term? I've always felt it was more work to store it than to give it a periodic workout from time to time. Hopefully you have better luck than I did with my old z3.

I drive a 4x4 hemi ram in the winter. With the amount of salt that gets dumped on the roads up here there's no way I'm driving the G and ruining it. It's the second winter it's been stored, just through in fuel stabilizer. The car I had before the G was never winter driven either, never had an issue with the battery or flat spots on the tire (and it lasted 10 years before I upgraded). I'd like to think the G is a much better car than a Honda Prelude. I'd agree with jacks if it sat for longer. Normally by the end march I'd take it out

 

Live in MD US and I don't drive my G much in the winter but do drive it when it's nice out. I have an SUV I drive however last year my battery died when I didn't start the car for a little over a month. So now I start it after a few weeks when I don't drive it.

 

Don't be such a *****! Just set a set of winter tires.
You really should look at getting an AWD car.

I drive my Grand Cherokee with blizzaks when it is bad outside, but when roads are clean and sunny I will drive G no metter it is winter or summer. I know Canada is different to NJ but still we are getting pretty bad winters too.
I belive battery might die until march you should get one of the chargers I am using for motorcycle just more powerfull.

 

Very nice - from a fellow Vert owner. Although my convertibles don't get out much in the winter and never in the snow. I have more purposeful vehicles for the snow...

My MGB spends the winter in a climate controlled garage on jack stands with battery disconnected and intake & exhaust covered.
