My engine cover stuck cant install BB grounding kit

so i got the black betty grounding wires but i can install them because the 2 front screws were put in improperly from factory and now i cant get them out they sit side ways. so i go to the dealership hoping they can take them out under warranty and the douchbag tells me they have been tampered with so the warranty wont cover it oh and it he thinks that because my headlights and exhaust are modified. im not sure how that has to do with anything anyone know what i can do about this?

So the bolts holding your engine cover on are cross threaded? If so yo should still be able to get them out. Are you using a ratchet and socket? You'll need to use a lot of muscle but they should come out. However if they are cross threaded the holes will need to be retapped to put them back in properly.

It is really odd that 2 different bolts on the engine cover would be cross threaded from the factory...

I'm not sure what you mean by cross threaded but when I tried to unscrew it kept turning and not come out and same with the other one when I looked at it they were both leaning to one side
