F*#@ this parking lot

So i was pulling into the local CVS today.. the parking lot had a big slope down on a right turn that i was making, and as i was going around it the car began to slide.. and slide.. and slide then bam! it rubbed up against the bumper of an old crown vic. the parking lot was like an ice skating rink - it was very slick and the fact that it had stopped raining/was very humid didn't help.

Basically now the car is a little banged up. The bumper i wanted to replace with an S bumper anyway but now it looks like i might need a fender (i think this one could possibly be bent around and used again but i'm not totally sure) I think the fender mounts to the headlight, but whatever mount is on the front of the fender is what suffered damage.. it broke off. do you think i can find a back piece of the headlight so that this mount would be there again, then try to work out the fender damage myself, then get the bumper and call it a day? or do you think its going to take a new headlight + fender, and the bumper? I know you wont be able to tell too much, but try to get what you can from the pic.

It's hard to tell but that fender doesn't look too bad. I've seen worse. Is the headlight even damaged?

no the headlight is fine.. i just think the fender mounts to the back part of it, and that mount broke.

wherever the fender mounts to right there is broken so i need a new mount, the question is how much else do i have to replace just to have that mount there.

the bumper idgaf about because i was going to get the S one anyway so thats no biggie. i dont know if i am going to go through insurance.

the crown vic has scrapes on the bumper and a hole in it.. i gave the guy 200$ and we settled it

Ouch dude. Where are you located that the ice has started to build up already? From the looks of it the fender should be repairable but don't quote me on it.

haha the ice hasnt actually started to build up, that was just me explaining how slick the pavement was.. there must have been some type of sealer on it, and that mixed with the humidity of today + the drying rain caused it to be as slick as ice.. i thought i hit an oil patch it was just completely unavoidable i was steering out of it and pumping the brakes and nothing was working it just caught no traction and kept sliding right into the back of the crown vic..

so annoying!
