I've seen this happen a lot, so I built a habit of slowing down when someone makes a left in front of me. I hope that other guy gets nailed for what he did

Vasher, are you OK??

Tampa and Chatsworth?? I crossed that intersection maybe 10 minutes earlier.

The car is probably not totaled. I think the damages have to be 60-70 % of the cars worth for it to total out. Then Again the car is an 2010 model so the insurance will pay for all brand new parts.

Looks like you had a small child in that front seat, I assume youre both fine. Actually the G doesn't look too bad by judging vs the crapbox that cut you off. I would bet big money that the driver of that thing was a crackhead high on drugs or drunk as hell.

so true. i live in an area where turn signals are rarely used, nobody checks their blind spots and tail gating is the norm.

Vasher, hope you and your passengers are ok.

usually even higher but it depends on the company.

Did the other driver get cited or is there a disputed turn arrow? Do you have under/uninsured coverage?

Ironically those two white signs above say, "Left turn yield on green".

anytime you're over 50% and you have a lien on the vehicle, they'll total it. The bank just wants they're money back from the insurance company.
