*HELP! I need your advice...

Ok, so my car needs bodywork repair on the door, replace driver side window, and repaint/blend the damaged area...

Here's my dilemma...

I can take my car to a certified Nissan/Infiniti shop. Its a big shop and I've seen their lot. Lots of employees and they work on a lot of cars and many people say they do a good job. I was told that their work is warrantied for 12 mos/12,000 miles.

OR

I can take it to a small shop that do 1-3 cars at a time and a lot of guys I know say they do a really good quality job. They also worked on a bunch of show cars here on island... mainly Honda's though.

Where should I take my car?

I would take the car to the certified Nissan/Infiniti shop as they will have more knowledge about your car, parts, and paint.

this too. the dealer will most likely refer you to their body shop that works on their cars.

I'd be paying my $500 deductible and the rest of my premium (another $400). Then the Insurance should take care of the rest. The quotes for the repairs was around $2K.

Our Nissan/Infiniti Dealer here only does minor work. They take bodywork and paint to that certified shop I mentioned.

Insurance is paying for it so take it to the certified shop that the dealer is recommending.
