Can this be done?
Can this be done?
My current rear wheels are 10" with a +45 offset. Can I add a 15mm wheel spacer and NOT RUB without having to modify the fender lining or stuff like that? I am currently on Eibachs with Yokohama S.drive wheels, FYI.
Thanks!!!!
Thanks!!!!
Well 10" = 254mm wide, with a +45mm offset that means your barrel is (254/2 -45) = 82mm away from the wheel hub, push it out another 15mm with your spacers and you're a total of 97mm away from the hub.
I'm on the factory 9" = 228.6mm wide, with a +45 offset that means my barrel is (228.6/2 -45) = 69.3mm away from the wheel hub, and since I'm on 20mm spacers, that translates to a total of 89.3mm away from the hub.
I'm at around -1.7 degrees of camber due to my eibach drop in the rear and still manage to rub on strong dips, especially with people sitting in the backseat. I don't think you'd be able to pull if off without more camber or some trimming.

You will rub.
A 30 offset on a 10 will rub. I rub on my 20x10 with 32 offset. Same tires, S drives. Had to shave off lining and part of the metal bracket. I'm on Eibachs as well.
Shaving the lining is not a big deal though.

What about pushing out my phantom volks? 37 offset in the rear 35 in the front, I want to push them out a bit more, 10mm in the rear and 15 mm in the front? will that work?
If you run 10mm spacer in the front so it's +25, it'll be perfect and no rub.
A +27 in the rear is probably ok if you're willing to run more camber and don't have S drives as your tires, haha.
My ideal is +25 in the front, +32 or +30 in the rear. Not S drives.
