Did an Ikea trip with my gf, a friend and his wife. Girls went in the back and said it was actually pretty comfortable.
Nissan sales guy told a while back that back seat was designed with not having tall people in mind.

its possible to fit 4 people in the back seat, done it really well! 3 chicks in the back seat, 1 short one lays on top of them..
and 1 chick in the front.
