I am trying to figure out if my car has rain sensing wipers. I don't 'think' it does because the wipers are active even with no rain on the window. however, there is a sensor on the back side (facing the front window) of the rear view mirror. Assuming that is the sensor, and since I did not buy this car new, I don't know for sure. It could be this isn't the sensor at all, it could be it is the sensor but it's is either not working or not enabled.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Regards, Steve.
your car does not have rain sensing wipers. its only for 2010+ models with tech package

Thanks for helping me out. I thought it might be the light sensor for the auto-headlights but then I was led to believe that sensor was on the dash...

Anyway, I appreciate the responses and as a new member, I must say how much I am enjoying learning more about my car through this venue.

As a result of searching for various items I am going back to the dealer regarding the rattle in my muffler. I heard the rattle and didn't think too much of it- although it seemed strange- until I read some other posts about the Infiniti Technical Bulletin on the issue.

I am also thinking about asking them to address the minor scratches on the steering wheel because I see that is another known issue.

That said, these are very minor issues for me and I am am absolutely over the top with this car.

Take care.

I thought it was for the lights. I was having issues with the auto lights, got rid of the dash mat and the issues went away.

One the sensor on the dash is for the auto headlights and the other sensor is the sun load sensor for the a/c.

The assumption is that the sensor, and I certainly do not know, because I did not buy this car new. This may be it is not all sensors Jewelry Brooches, it may be the sensor, but it is not working or is not enabled.

Thanks.
That tells the auto dimming rear view mirror when it's dark outside so it doesn't dim during the day. Surprised nobody else knew the answer and just started making stuff up.

Guys,
This is an unexpected topic and possibilities. Do you know if the 2013 6MT model has the automatic wipers?
My wife keeps bragging about how her Audi has it and my coupe does not. I am not sure that I would even use it but would enjoy showing it off
thx.
