How different S coupe suspension to X coupe? Stock springs and other parts are same or different? Does 18 inch rims of X means car suspension is lower? Also anyone installed Eibach springs to lower X yet?

Not really sure how different, but they do have different springs. If you go to eibachs site, you will see that they have a set of springs specifically for the X coupe. I have an X coupe and am looking to picking up a set soon. The drop is around 1.6" rear and 1.9" front if I remember correctly.

Please let me know where in NJ you will do it and $ cost. Thanks!
You're from somerset? Where exactly? I'm from branchburg/Somerville. I'm looking for installers in the area. Springs themselves are $300
It should cost at least two times more for installation, it will also need wheel alighments job after. Not many good places in owr area, I am looking too.
I am on rt27 near to N. Brunswick.
Damn, was looking to spend around 500-600 on the whole project.. now I'm wondering if it's even worth it or just wait a year and get some coilovers. Tough decision.

Procedure is not quick, unplug each strut, remove springs and install eibach's and struts back. Plus wheel alighments... If you found one for this amount, please let me know.

What coilovers? The bcs? And lowering definitely doesn't effect the awd?
Yeah the bcs. I don't think the lowering springs will effect the awd functions but don't quote me on that. Anyone have the bc coils installed on the x coupe? What's the difference between them and just regular lowering springs? I like the nice drop with the springs but I'm not sure what kind of damage it will do to the struts in the long run.

I heard from many people that most likely struts will be dead pretty soon, it is also depends on roads you are driving (same as me ) and your style of driving etc. I will wait on more opinions, not sure if I am ready for new struts, maybe it is cheaper to buy new car with all this ready?
